Friday, September 28, 2007,
9:00 AM to 9:00 PM; Saturday, September 29, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM;
Sunday, September 30, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Awards and Reception:
Friday, September 28, at 6:00 PM.

Goldy S. Lewis Community Center
at Central Park, 11200 Base
Line Rd., Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
(Corner of Milliken and Base Line Rd.)
REGISTRATION
BY MAIL:
Postmark deadline is Wednesday,
September 19, 2007. No slides.
NOTE: Artwork
received at Take-In must be the same as on the Registration Forms - No
Substitutions
FEES:
There will be a non-refundable handling fee as follows: Members: $12.00
per entry or three for $30.00.
Non-Members: $18.00 per entry. Limit: Three entries per person.
AN ADDITIONAL LATE REGISTRATION FEE of
$10.00 will
be charged for registering at take-in.
TAKE-IN:
Wednesday September 26, 2007, 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. (No entries
before 2:00 PM, please)
PICK-UP:
4:00 to 4:30 PM, Sunday, September 30, 2007. (Paintings will
not be released prior to 4:00 PM Sunday).
Entries not picked up by 4:30 PM Sunday will be subject to a
$5.00 a day storage fee per entry.
RECEIPTS:
Your receipt must be shown at the exit when leaving with your artwork.
THIS IS A
JURIED SHOW. Artwork
will be accepted at the discretion of the Jury of Selection. If your
work is juried out, we will try to notify you before the opening of the
show. Art that has been declined may be picked up during show hours.
ELIGIBILITY:
All artists work must be no more than three years old, and the
original creation of the artist. Teacher assisted class
work, computer art, photography, crafts, copies of portraits, copies of
artwork, or copies of copyrighted photographs will not be accepted for
judging. Artwork must be of such nature as not to offend the
sensibilities of the public.
PREPARATION:
All paintings must be suitably framed (gallery wrap canvas is accepted),
ready to hang with wire and eyes (no saw tooth hangers), titled
and priced or marked N.F.S. (Not for Sale). No wet paintings.
All sculpture and artwork, including frame, may not exceed
48_inches in any direction. Sculpture must be presented in a
professional manner on a base or with appropriate display presentation
and easily carried by one person.
CATEGORIES:
Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Sculpture (Includes realistic and abstract
pieces from traditional materials, being defined as wood, fired clay,
metals and stone), Pastel/Drawing, Mixed Media/Misc, and Senior Novice
(open to seniors, 50 and above, in any media listed
above, who have never won a fine art
award) . The Show Committee may change or combine
categories.
AWARDS:
Best of Show: $400. Other Categories: First Place $100, Second Place
$75, Third Place $50. Miscellaneous Awards: Mayor’s Award, Popular
Choice Award, and others, including Honorable Mention Ribbons.
SALES:
All work will be considered for sale at the indicated price. The
Associated Artists will retain a 15% donation on all
sales. Visa and MasterCard accepted. It is the responsibility of the
entrant to proof read all information attached to their artwork at
take-in.
LIABILITY:
Associated Artists cannot be held responsible for theft, fire, injury,
or damage of any sort to work submitted for the show, nor can any of its
agents. Any of the above rules may be changed at the discretion of
the Show Committee. Submitting an entry to this show shall imply an
agreement on the part of the entrant to the above.
